In terms of the negative effects however the main issue and concern is that the pharmaceuticals can directly prescribe the drugs to the customers. This can be a major concern for the patients as there can be unnecessary prescription of drugs and thereby unneeded intake of the drugs. In addition, this can lead to lesser time to evaluate patients. This is not the most effective means as there can be incorrect diagnosis and there can be lack of research in terms of the side effects as well as the possible reactions to the drugs as well. Hence the DTCA encourages the companies to stop this process and to not to neglect the crucial stage of proper drug prescription. Also, this makes it necessary for the doctors to be more effective and also ensures that doctors take more time out to ensure that the customers are safe and keep up to their profession and do not prescribe drugs without care and caution. In addition, another major concern that is seen is that patients tend to withhold their information and tend to treat themselves, which is also a result of these prescriptions. There is however, a major chance that the patients might take incorrect medication, which in turn can have a very negative effect on the liver and can also lead to more serious issues and concerns for the patients. This could also lead to lack of quality health care for the individuals and can lead to other more serious issues and concerns which can have a negative impact on the health of the
