During economic stress periods corporations are looking to reduce overhead cost in any facet. One major way to decrease expenses is to reduce the cost of training and development for employees. My objective is to show how the current technological advances and future development of information technology infrastructure can satisfy both categories. Using my Strategic implementation our organization can continue to develop employees while reducing cost associated with the training. At the end of this presentation paper you can review Fig. 1.0. This E-learning flow chart represents the proposal that is being suggested. I will look at the current and future technological infrastructure. Review the changes that are necessary for development of employee training. We will look at costing and strategic destinations. Most importantly we will apply all this information to our business and analyze the projected outcome. Once the outcome is presented I can propose implementation strategies. Company Background My applied research will be presented to my company’s executive team. I work for EmCare, Inc. We are a public traded company that conducts practice management for Emergency Rooms in hospitals. Hospitals contract us to manage all segments of their E.R.’s. We recruit, enroll and staff physicians. We are also responsible for all financials aspects of the contracted Emergency Room. As a company we need to be on the cutting edge of technology. We are 24/7 operational business. We need our employees to have the most updated training necessary.
E-Learning defined E-learning is a form of training like no other. It provides a single experience that accommodates the three distinct learning styles of auditory learners, visual learners, and kinesthetic learners.
