It is true that the climate has changed and humans are accountable for causing it?
Global warming has been one of the biggest deals of political and scientific controversy. As we know that the scientists have discovered mysteries of the world and universe in the past decades. Is it to be believed that humans are involved in causing the global warming?
One of my main reasons for saying that the Earth is actually becoming warmer, is because of the increasing temperatures through the thermometer records kept over the past century and half. It is recorded that around the world, the Earth’s average temperature has raised more than 1 degree Fahrenheit over the last century, and about twice that in parts of the Arctic.
Likewise, there is evidence for a rapid climate change as sea levels rise (global sea level rose about 17 centimetres/6.7 inches in the last century); global temperature rise (Earth has warmed since 1880 and surface temperature continue to increase); warming oceans (oceans have absorbed much of this increased heat with top 700 meters of ocean showing warming of 0.302 degrees Fahrenheit since 1969); reduction ice sheets (Greenland lost 150 to 250 cubic kilometres of ice per year between 2002 and 2006 while Antarctica lost 152 cubic kilometres of ice between 2002 and 205); declining Arctic sea ice (Arctic sea ice has declined rapidly over the last several decades); glacial retreat (disappearing snow cap almost everywhere around the world); extreme events (high…
