There is this thing called Facebook. Facebook has ruined relationships and also developed some relationships. The relationship between student should reach its max when it comes to being Facebook friends. The relationship needs some room to breathe because Facebook allows people to see other people's business. Most of the time, students befriend other students, allowing all people to see their profiles by just looking at the students friends. The same goes for teachers, students can see all the teachers' friends profiles because the accepted the friend request. It’s an invasion of privacy for the students and the teachers.

In that case, it would be out there that the student was trying to cheat by getting the answers from a friend, the teacher could see the student was trying to cheat. If the other student reply's with the answers, the teacher could see that and he would get in trouble too, even if he was not friends with the teacher. The reason being the friend request between the teacher and the student was accepted. Which basically opened private info and posts up to their teacher. The teacher can also see all of the students friends profiles too.
The examples above have zero positive results. Although there are some positive results, but there is too many negative results to go through just for a limited amount positive results. In my opinion to prevent these problems, the student should not send the friend request and the teacher should not accept the invitation. The teachers would not have to worry about their students seeing anything and the students would not have to worry about their teachers invading their privacy. It's Facebook, people are going to post their feelings whether it hurts other peoples' feelings or not. The best way to have a good experience on Facebook, only befriend true friends and do not stir up gossip especially about a student or teacher.
