Philosophers are known for the expression of their thoughts and this makes life enjoyable for numerous people in the world. Philosophers are generally referred das thinkers who search for the hidden meanings of hidden things and finally nurture the agenda using a systematic approach of views. Philosophers recognize the fragility of the society people stays and still contribute their thoughts and share with the rest of the world. They use their experiences to provide lessons for the whole world and try to save other vulnerable people from world immoralities (Marquez, 2011). Thesis statement: The contributions of Socrates had a positive impact on the world and are still vastly used in various educational fields.
It is comparative to note that Socrates did not write any book. However, his contributions were acknowledged by his students who were Sophroniscus, Lamprocles and Menexenus and Plato. An educated guess of why Socrates did not write any book points on the cultural beliefs and customs of the ancient Greece. Additional information suggests that Socrates lived in the days when most of the business considered important to the society was only handled through speaking, as opposed to writing. However, some scholars reason that Socrates did not write things down because he was constantly asking questions, depended on his viewpoint and was continually learning.
