Photography has come a long way from the first camera all the way until today. In this essay I’ll begin by explaining how the first aspect called the Camera Obscura started. The Camera Obscura was first developed and explained in ancient times during the 4th and 5th centuries B.C. It was first developed by the Chinese and Greeks and also later studied by other philosophers in Ancient Times. It is used to create images that are transmitted through a pinhole camera on a wall that is in a darkened room. People such as Aristotle studied the Camera Obscura as well as the Pinhole Camera.
In 1814 Joseph Nicéphore Niépce took the Camera Obscura and developed a special type of paper which the images could be printed on. These photographs that

The new film would allow the photographers to shoot their pictures and have someone else develop it or have themselves develop the film at a later time.
Even though many of the pictures shot and printed in the 19th and early to mid-20th centuries was black and white, many people experimented with color photography. The first color photo, which was an image of a ribbon, was taken in 1861 by James Maxwell. Throughout the 19th century many different types of color printing methods were developed that required less chemicals and took less time.
Now that I’ve covered some of the topics of the beginning and early innovations of the history of Photography I’d like to skip ahead and talk about the Polaroid Camera. The Polaroid Camera was and still is a type of Camera which contained all the Chemicals and film inside the Camera itself and could be used to point and shoot and then would print the picture that the Photographer would have taken. The first Polaroid Camera that was able to print out the picture automatically was invented around the 1960s and came with a positive and negative roll of film that was also in different sizes and required the user to exchange the rolls of film periodically. At the beginning the Cameras were bulky in size and very annoying to carry around but later on became more shaped and more compact. One of the earlier popular Polaroid Cameras which
